CDM Smith is seeking a mid- to senior-level Sediment Remediation Engineer in Stamford, CT. You will lead projects and collaborate with federal and public clients on sediment remediation strategies and designs.

The role requires a PE license, a Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering degree, and 7+ years of related experience, with travel up to 10%. We value strong communication and regulatory expertise to deliver technically sound solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering; PE license required.
• 7+ years of related experience; travel may be required.
• Domestic and/or international travel contingent on duties.

Responsabilidades

• Provide expertise in evaluating the feasibility of sediment remediation technologies and preparing designs for riverine, coastal, and riparian/floodplain, and/or port sites with multiple stakeholders.
• Understand principles of sediment transport, environmental site assessment, sampling/monitoring, cap modeling, dredge approaches, remedial design and construction.
• Support mathematical/statistical evaluations of environmental data sets.
• Serve as CDM Smith’s task manager on sediment sites; communicate strategy to client and interact with SMEs.
• Possess expertise in CERCLA, GLWA, and other regulatory steps for contaminated sediment sites.
• Act as liaison with client, public, and outside consultants, explaining technical evaluations to non-experts.
• Lead staff in preparing/reviewing technical documents that are sound and compliant.
