Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking a Low Voltage Technician to install, service, and test electronic security systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments in Wisconsin. Pay ranges from $20–$35 per hour with an additional monthly incentive of up to 10% of annual pay.

We provide tool allowance, a company vehicle, and a cell phone along with competitive benefits. Travel may be required, and training is offered to help you achieve your goals.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background checks and drug tests.
• Must be able to travel as needed.
• Knowledge of fire and electrical codes to install alarms safely.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire specified alarm system devices.
• Test and verify systems and devices function properly per manufacturer specs.
• Use multimeters for volts and ohm readings and circuit analysis.
• Program alarm systems via programmer or keypad.
• Explain how the alarm system works to the customer.
• Complete paperwork and submit to the appropriate department daily.
• Communicate with clients, coworkers, and Central Monitoring Station.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
