Job summary

Per Mar Security Services in Wisconsin Delavan is seeking a Low Voltage Technician to install, service, and test electronic security systems including burglar and fire alarms, CCTV, and access control across residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Starting pay ranges from $20-$35 per hour based on experience, plus a monthly incentive up to 10% of annual pay. A tool allowance, company vehicle, cell phone, and competitive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
• Must obtain required licenses/certifications for security work as per state regulations.
• High School Diploma or GED required for Per Mar Security Services.
• Must be able to travel as needed.
• Mathematical skills including calculations of figures, percentages, areas and volumes.
• Knowledge of fire and electrical codes for safe alarm installations.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire alarm system devices as specified.
• Test systems to ensure proper operation per manufacturer specs.
• Use multimeters for voltage and resistance readings and circuit analysis.
• Connect devices such as motion detectors and keypads to panels.
• Program alarm systems via programmer or keypad.
• Explain system operation to customers and provide demonstrations.
• Complete paperwork daily and coordinate with departments and monitoring station.
• Communicate with clients and team members; perform other duties as assigned.
