Job summary

Per Mar Security Services in Wisconsin is seeking a Low Voltage Technician to install, service, and test electronic security systems including burglar and fire alarms, CCTV and access control in residential, commercial, and industrial environments.

Starting pay ranges from $20-$35 per hour based on experience, plus a monthly incentive program of up to 10% of your annual pay. Company vehicle, cell phone, tool allowance, and competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks.
• Must obtain state licenses/certifications to work in security.
• High School Diploma or GED required; travel as needed.
• Strong math skills including area and volume.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire specified alarm system devices.
• Test systems and verify operation per manufacturer specs.
• Use multimeters for voltage and ohm readings.
• Program alarm systems via programmer or keypad.
• Explain operation of installed systems to customers.
• Complete daily paperwork and communicate with teams.
• Collaborate with clients and Central Monitoring Station.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
