Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is hiring a Low Voltage Technician to install, service, and test electronic security systems across residential, commercial, and industrial environments.

Starting pay ranges from $20-$35 per hour based on experience, plus a monthly incentive program up to 10% of annual pay. Benefits, tool allowance, company vehicle, and cell phone are provided. Valid license, background checks, and ability to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass background checks and drug tests.
• Must obtain state licenses/certifications to work in the security industry.
• High school diploma or GED required for all positions.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Solid math skills and understanding of basic algebra and geometry.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire specified alarm system devices.
• Test systems and verify functionality per manufacturer specs.
• Program alarms via programmer or keypad.
• Explain system operation to customers and complete daily paperwork.
• Communicate with clients, coworkers, and the Central Monitoring Station.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
