Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Technician to install, program, start-up, certify, and train customers on projects of varying complexity. You will be part of a dynamic team that supports growth and delivers world-class service.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in fire alarm or electronic security systems, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel to jobsites. Convergint offers a comprehensive benefits package and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum Experience: 3–5 years relevant.
• Certifications: Industry-specific certifications preferred (e.g., Software House, Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, AMAG, Milestone, ONSSI, AXIS).

Responsibilities

• Installs, programs, tests, repairs, and services security systems.
• Reads blueprints and wiring diagrams to determine installation procedures.
• Acts as mentor to less experienced staff and supports project teams.
