Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Project Technician to install, program, startup and certify security systems, and train customers on project-specific solutions. You will join a collaborative team and travel to local jobsites as needed to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Experience with fire alarm or electronic security systems, strong technical and programming skills, and proficiency with MS Office are required.

Qualifications

• Solid programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems.
• Solid technical skills and experience with fire alarm systems and/or electronic security systems.
• Advanced computer skills including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repair, and service a variety of security and related systems.
• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams to determine installation procedures.
• Operate and demonstrate systems, perform startup, certification testing, and customer training.
