Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Technician to install, program, start-up, certify, and train customers on security, fire alarm, and life-safety systems. You will join a team that values growth, integrity, and exceptional service while supporting a broad range of projects of varying complexity.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service mindset and ability to work under pressure.
• Willing to learn fire alarm/electronic security systems.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude; comfortable with hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repair, and service security, fire alarm, and life-safety systems.
• Perform system start-up, commissioning, and customer training under guidance.
• Interpret manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams for installation.
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve issues and improve service quality.
• Support project coordination, budgeting, and documentation efforts.
