Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Commercial Service Technician in Chantilly, VA to troubleshoot and service burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, and card access systems. You will repair or replace faulty equipment and coordinate inspections, delivering high-quality service to keep facilities running efficiently.

The role requires 1 year of experience with Tyco Integrated Security or equivalent, card access/CCTV skills, a valid driver's license, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience installing and inspecting/servicing Tyco Integrated Security or comparable product line.
• Experience with Card Access/CCTV/IP cameras.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Electrical/Electronic background.
• Valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass government-required background screen.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and service security systems, alarms, CCTV, and access control.
• Repair or replace faulty equipment and coordinate inspections.
• Coordinate inspections with police, fire departments, or other agencies.
• Provide quotes and upsell where appropriate.
• Operate independently from a field location with provided tools.
