Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Commercial Service Technician to troubleshoot and service security systems including burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV and card access. You will work from a remote location with all tools provided and deliver the highest level of service to resolve building inefficiencies.

You will locate and repair damaged equipment, coordinate inspections with authorities, provide quotes, upsell opportunities, and ensure the facility runs efficiently.

Qualifications

• 3+ years installing and inspecting/servicing security systems (Tyco or equivalent).
• Experience with Card Access/CCTV/IP cameras.
• Strong communication skills and an electrical/electronic background.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background check.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and service burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, and card access systems.
• Repair or replace faulty equipment; perform tests to ensure operation.
• Coordinate inspections/installations with authorities; prepare trouble orders and quotes.
