Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Commercial Service Technician to troubleshoot and service security systems on-site in Chantilly, VA. You will diagnose issues, repair or replace alarms, CCTV, and card access equipment, and coordinate inspections with authorities to keep facilities running smoothly.

You will work independently with necessary tools, delivering high-quality service and practical solutions to customers. A valid license and an ability to pass background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience installing, inspecting/servicing Tyco Integrated Security or comparable product line.
• Experience with Card Access/CCTV/IP cameras.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Electrical/Electronic background.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass government-required background screen.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and service burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, and card access systems.
• Repair or replace damaged equipment; coordinate inspections with authorities.
• Provide solutions and upsell opportunities to improve building efficiency.
