Job summary

Johnson Controls, a global leader in security and building management, is seeking a Commercial Service Technician to troubleshoot and service security systems. You will repair or replace alarms and CCTV, coordinate with authorities, and provide customers with effective solutions from a remote setup.

Responsibilities include locating and repairing equipment, preparing trouble forms, and generating quotes. A valid driver's license and background check clearance are required to join the team.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to customers.
• Electrical/electronic background relevant to service and repair work.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to pass background screening.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace security systems including burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, and card access.
• Read and interpret service orders; coordinate inspections with authorities as needed.
• Provide high-quality service, upsell where appropriate, and deliver timely quotes for solutions.
• Coordinate inspections and/or installations with police, fire departments, or other authorities when required.
