Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Commercial Service Technician to diagnose and repair security systems, including fire alarms, CCTV, and card access. You’ll work from a remote setup but travel to client sites to ensure reliable operation and fast issue resolution.

You will advise customers, coordinate with authorities as needed, and provide quotes. A background in electrical/electronic systems and a valid driver's license are required, with at least 3 years in the field.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience installing and inspecting/servicing Tyco Integrated Security or comparable product line.
• Experience with Card Access, CCTV/IP cameras, and Fire Alarms.
• Electrical/Electronic background; valid driver’s license; High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and service Commercial security, fire alarm, CCTV, and card access systems.
• Advise customers and care center on system status and inspections.
• Repair or replace damaged equipment; test operation and reliability.
• Coordinate inspections/ installations with police, fire departments, or agencies.
• Propose solutions and quotes; upsell when appropriate to improve facility efficiency.
