Johnson Controls is seeking a Commercial Service Technician to troubleshoot and service security systems, including burglar alarms, CCTV and card access. You will coordinate inspections, repair or replace equipment, and provide top–tier service from a remote location with the necessary tools.

The role emphasizes guidance to customers, effective communication, and the ability to upsell and propose improvements to ensure building efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (implied by role)
• Experience with security systems and related electronics preferred
• NICET II or higher certification is preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and service commercial security/Fire Alarm/CCTV/Card Access systems.
• Advise customers and coordinate inspections/installs with authorities.
• Repair or replace damaged equipment and provide solutions to improve facility efficiency.
• Generate quotes to support security system recommendations and upsell opportunities.
