Job summary

Unlimited Technology, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to manage access control and IP camera systems at client sites.

You will install, program, troubleshoot, and perform maintenance on electronic devices, power supplies, and network components, communicating clearly with the Field Supervisor. The role requires self-motivation, the ability to read engineered drawings, and collaboration with subcontractors and customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of field installation experience in security environments.
• Certifications in Lenel/Software House access control.
• Certifications in American Dynamics, Genetec, Exacq preferred.
• Experience reading engineered drawings.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel; strong customer-facing skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install and service Access Control and IP camera systems according to engineered drawings.
• Possess programming skills associated with the UT product line.
• Program, terminate and commission a wide range of Access Control products and platforms.
• Identify and resolve issues that would impact productivity.
• Complete all necessary paperwork relating to job tickets.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment at all times.
• Communicate activity to the Project Manager or Field Supervisor promptly.
• Assist Level I technicians as needed.
• Maintain company vehicle condition and cleanliness.
• Keep a safe driving record and report incidents immediately.
• Attend required product or safety training.
