Job summary

Unlimited Technology in Herndon, VA is seeking a Security Technician to install and service Access Control and IP camera systems, following engineered drawings and UT standards.

The role requires 3–5 years of field installation experience in security, knowledge of door hardware, network troubleshooting, and strong communication with project managers and customers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–5 years of field installation experience in security.
• Certifications in Lenel/Software House, or other security platforms preferred.
• Experience with door hardware installation and network troubleshooting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to interact with customers.

Responsibilities

• Install and service access control and IP camera systems per engineered drawings.
• Program, terminate and commission access control products and platforms.
• Identify and resolve issues impacting job productivity.
• Maintain safe, clean working environment; complete paperwork on tickets.
• Coordinate with Project Manager or Field Supervisor and maintain vehicle condition.
• Attend product or safety training as required.
