Job summary

Unlimited Technologies is seeking a Security Installation Technician to install and service Access Control and IP camera systems at client sites. The role involves hands-on programming, configuring UT product lines, and collaborating with project leadership to ensure quality and security standards.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of field installation experience in the security environment, with certifications in Lenel/Software House or other major platforms preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of field installation experience in the security environment.
• Certifications in Lenel/Software House access control preferred; certifications in American Dynamics, Genetec, Exacq preferred.
• Experience installing/servicing Access Control and IP camera systems; ability to read engineered drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install and service Access Control and IP camera systems according to engineered drawings.
• Must possess programming skills associated with the UT product line.
• Program, terminate and commission a wide range of Access Control products and platforms.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting job productivity.
• Complete all necessary paperwork relating to job tickets.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment.
• Communicate activity to the Project Manager or Field Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain company vehicle condition and cleanliness.
• Maintain a safe driving record and report incidents to management.
• Attend required product or safety training.
