Job summary

Unlimited Technologies, a premier security solutions provider, seeks a Full-Time Security Installation Technician to install and service Access Control and IP camera systems at client sites. You will program, terminate, and commission devices, troubleshoot network components, and maintain documentation while coordinating with Project Managers and customers.

The role demands a self-starter with strong communication skills and the ability to work with subcontractors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–5 years of field installation experience in the security environment.
• Certifications in Lenel/Software House access control.
• Certifications in American Dynamics, Genetec, Exacq preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and service Access Control and IP camera systems according to engineered drawings.
• Must possess programming skills associated with the UT product line.
• Program, terminate and commission a wide range of Access Control products and platforms.
• Identify and resolve issues that could impact job productivity.
• Complete all necessary paperwork relating to job tickets.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment.
• Communicate activity to the Project Manager or Field Supervisor in a timely manner.
• Assist Level I technicians when needed.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety.
