Job summary

Unlimited Technology, Inc. is seeking a full-time Security Installation Technician to install and service access control, IP cameras, and alarm systems at client sites.

You will read engineered drawings, configure devices, and work closely with project managers and customers to ensure installations meet specifications and timelines. The role requires 3–5 years of field installation experience in security environments, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of field installation experience in security environments.
• Experience with access control, alarm systems, and IP video devices.
• Ability to read engineered drawings and electrical schematics.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with customers and UT staff.
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours as needed.
• State low-voltage/security licenses if required.

Responsibilities

• Install Access Control and IP camera systems per engineered drawings.
• Identify and resolve issues impacting productivity.
• Complete all required job tickets documentation.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Report activity to Project Manager or Field Supervisor promptly.
• Install and program Alarm, Access Control, IP video systems.
• Provide updates to project manager and customers.
• Test and troubleshoot security systems.
