Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a full-time Security Technician in Jackson, MS. You will install, program, test, certify, and train customers on security systems across varying project sizes. You’ll work with a dynamic team and contribute to our culture of growth and exceptional service.

The role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving, and the ability to travel locally to job sites. You will read plans, troubleshoot, and support customers to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years relevant field service experience preferred.
• Certifications in security products and systems are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and service a variety of non-routine security systems and equipment.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine installation procedures.
• Operate and demonstrate system functionality, perform start-ups, and training for customers.
• Coordinate with project leadership to ensure on-time delivery and quality of work.
