Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum Experience: 3–5 years relevant.
• Preferred Experience: Relevant field service.
• Certifications: Product-specific certifications, Industry-specific certifications and/or licenses (e.g., Software House, Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, AMAG, Milestone or ONSSI, AXIS).

Responsibilities

• Installs, programs, tests, repairs, and services a variety of non-routine systems and equipment including security, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation.
• Reads blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specs to determine installation procedures and repairs equipment.
• Operates systems to demonstrate equipment, commission new systems, analyze performance and identify malfunctions.
• Mentors less experienced staff and may supervise testing, tuning, and adjustments.
• Works with Project Manager to coordinate projects and suggest quality and scope improvements.
