Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a full-time Security Technician to install, program, start-up, certify, and train customers on security and life-safety systems on projects of varying complexity. You will be part of a dynamic team that emphasizes growth and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, programming, startup/check-out, and certifying security systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, manuals and wiring diagrams.
• Willingness to travel locally to jobsites; valid driver’s license required.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repair and service security and life-safety systems.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine installation procedures.
• Commission and start-up of new systems; provide customer training and support.
• Coordinate with project manager and field staff to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Mentor junior staff and verify proper testing and tuning of equipment.
