Job summary

Convergint Technologies LLC is seeking a full-time Security Project Specialist 3 in Duluth, GA. You will install, program, start-up/check-out, certify, and train customers on projects of varying complexity.

You will work with project teams, read blueprints, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction. Travel locally may be required. Company offers comprehensive benefits and a culture that values service.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Solid technical skills in fire alarm and electronic security systems.
• Solid programming skills and troubleshooting ability.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Strong reading of blueprints and drawings.
• Solid math skills for calculations.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and multitasking.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Able to travel locally to jobsites; minimal overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repair, and service non-routine systems including security and life-safety.
• Interface with customers, provide training and maximize satisfaction.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine installation.
• Operate systems to demonstrate, commission, and analyze performance.
• Mentor less experienced staff and supervise testing and adjustments.
• Coordinate with Project Manager on project timelines and budgets.
• Identify risks and contribute to mitigation strategies.
• Support project scope changes and quality improvements.
