Job summary

Convergint Technologies LLC in Duluth, GA is seeking a full-time Project Manager to lead medium-scale security and life-safety projects on-site. You will manage scope, schedule and budget, coordinate procurement, and ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of project management experience in technical environments and PMI certifications are preferred.

• Requires project management experience in a technical environment (building automation, fire alarm and/or electronic security).
• Candidate demonstrates initiative and proactive problem solving.
• Strong analytical and conflict resolution skills are essential.
• Ability to facilitate a collaborative working environment with customers and teams.
• Must be highly adaptable and able to influence and build consensus.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and staff development abilities.
• Solid financial analytical skills including cost control.
• Proven track record in team leadership and client communications.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Manage, oversee, and coordinate multiple aspects for small to medium projects of moderate complexity from award through completion.
• Translate customer needs into detailed proposals and project implementation plans.
• Effectively communicate requirements to project team and maintain accurate records.
• Act as the customer’s best service provider and ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate procurement of materials, services, and controls for timely, cost-effective completion.
• Establish project milestones and analyze costs.
• May perform limited managerial duties and oversee subcontractor selection.
