Job summary

The role requires traveling to client sites and performing preventive maintenance while ensuring safety and compliance. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in commercial security system installation or service, networking and IP-system knowledge, and solid customer-service skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least two (2) years prior work experience in commercial security systems installation or service.
• Must have networking skills and 1-year experience programming access and video systems.
• Possess minimum factory and/or internal security system certifications to work independently.
• Must have basic computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, Smartsheet and IT skillset with understanding of IP systems.
• Excellent customer service skills, including a sense of urgency when attending to customer needs.
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with staff, vendors, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls within the assigned area and restore systems to full functionality.
• Install systems according to installation standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Maintain inventory and resources in possession.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections.
• Communicate status and progress to Customer Service and update tracking tickets.
• Attend to duties assigned by Regional Manager or executives.
