Job summary

Tech Systems Inc. (TSi) seeks a Field Service Technician to repair, maintain, and install security systems at client sites, including access control, video security, intrusion, alarm, infant protection, and intercom systems.

You will read blueprints, install per standards, and coordinate with customers while keeping inventory and tickets up to date. Travel to sites is required, with a focus on safety and quality service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in commercial security systems installation or service.
• Networking skills and IP systems experience.
• Factory and/or internal security system certifications to work independently.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Smartsheet.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls within defined times and restore systems to full function.
• Install systems according to Tech Systems Installation Standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Maintain tickets and update Customer Service Representative on status.
• Accurately account for inventory and resources.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections per policy.
• Assist with other technical support issues as needed.
• Observe safety regulations and work safely at all times.
