Job summary

Tech Systems Inc. (TSi) seeks a Field Service Technician to repair, maintain, and install security systems on client sites within the assigned area. The role covers access control, video security, intrusion, alarms, infant protection, and intercom systems.

Candidates should have 2+ years in commercial security installations, networking skills, and the ability to interpret blueprints. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in commercial security systems installation or service.
• Networking skills and 1-year experience programming access and video systems.
• Factory or internal security system certifications to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls within guaranteed response times and restore systems to full functionality.
• Install systems according to Tech Systems Installation Standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Communicate status and updates to Customer Service and update tickets.
• Maintain inventory and equipment in possession.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections per policy and procedures.
• Attend to other duties assigned by Regional Manager or executive staff.
