Job summary

Tech Systems Inc. (TSi) is seeking a Field Service Technician to repair, maintain, and install security systems at client sites in Michigan.

You will handle access control, video security, intrusion, alarms, infant protection, and intercom systems as part of a regional team. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in commercial security systems installation or service, basic networking/IP skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple tasks with strong customer service and communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in commercial security systems installation or service.
• Experience reading blueprints/schematics.
• Must have basic computer skills (MS Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Excellent customer service and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently and safely in client sites.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls within area and restore systems to full functionality.
• Install systems per Tech Systems Installation Standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Update tickets and communicate status with Customer Service Representative.
• Account for inventory and resources accurately.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance inspections per policy.
• Assist with other technical support issues as needed.
• Attend to duties assigned by Regional Manager or executives.
