Job summary

Tech Systems Inc. (TSi) is seeking a Field Service Technician to repair, maintain, and install security systems at client sites across our Florida territory.

You will handle access control, video security, intrusion, alarm, infant protection, and intercom systems with a focus on restoring full functionality fast. Responsibilities include on-site system installation per standards, reading blueprints, preventive maintenance, prioritizing customer needs with excellent service, and maintaining

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience in commercial security systems installation or service.
• Must have networking skills and 1-year experience programming access and video systems.
• Possess minimum factory and/or internal security system certifications to work independently.
• Basic computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Smartsheet; understanding of IP systems.
• Excellent customer service and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Responds to service calls within guaranteed response times and restores system functionality.
• Properly installs systems according to Tech Systems Installation Standards.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and schematics.
• Communicates status and updates tickets in tracking system.
• Maintains accurate inventory and resources.
• Performs preventive maintenance inspections per policy and procedures.
• Attends to other duties as assigned by management.
