Job summary

Tech Systems Inc. (TSi) is seeking a Field Service Technician to repair, maintain, and install security systems across our Georgia territory.

You will work on access control, video security, intrusion, alarm, infant protection, and intercom systems at client sites. The role requires at least two years' experience in commercial security systems installation or service, plus networking skills, IP systems knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least two years of experience in commercial security systems installation or service
• Networking skills and 1 year experience programming access and video systems
• Minimum factory/internal security system certifications to work independently
• Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook), Smartsheet, IT skills with IP systems
• Excellent customer service skills and sense of urgency
• Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational abilities
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Responds to service calls within assigned area and restores system functionality
• Properly installs systems per Tech Systems Installation Standards
• Reads and interprets blueprints and schematics
• Ensures tasks comply with company policies and procedures
• Identifies revisions, upgrades, and independent installs
• Communicates status/progress to Customer Service and updates tickets
• Accounts for company inventory and resources in possession
• Performs preventive maintenance inspections
• Assists with other technical support tasks as needed
• Attends to other matters at the direction of Regional Manager or exec staff
