Job summary

Tech Systems Inc. (TSi) is seeking a Field Service Technician responsible for repairing, maintaining, and installing security systems including access control, video surveillance, intrusion, and intercom systems.

You will respond to service calls, install according to standards, read blueprints, and coordinate with Customer Service and project tracking systems. A valid driver’s license and safety-conscious approach are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years in commercial security systems installation or service.
• Strong networking skills and ability to program access/video systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls within assigned area and restore systems to full function.
• Install systems per Tech Systems Installation Standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Identify revisions, upgrades, and installs independently.
• Update tickets in service/project tracking system.
• Maintain accurate inventory and resources.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections as required.
• Assist with other technical support issues as needed.
• Report to Regional Manager or executives as assigned.
