Job summary

Tech Systems Inc. (TSi) seeks a Field Service Technician to repair, maintain, and install security systems across assigned client sites.

You will handle access control, video security, intrusion, alarms, infant protection, and intercom systems, with strong emphasis on safety and customer service. The role requires reading blueprints, installing per standards, and performing preventive maintenance while coordinating with Customer Service and project teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years in commercial security systems installation or service.
• Networking skills and 1 year programming access/video systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls within area and restore systems.
• Install systems per Tech Systems standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Maintain adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Update tickets and communicate status with stakeholders.
• Account for inventory and resources.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections.
• Assist with other technical support as needed.
• Attend to duties by Regional Manager or executives.
