Job summary

Tech Systems Inc. (TSi) is seeking a Field Service Technician to repair, maintain, and install security systems across our Georgia service area. You will handle access control, video security, intrusion, alarms, infant protection, and intercom systems at client sites.

Requirements include two years of security systems experience, networking skills, blueprints proficiency, and a valid driver’s license. Travel to client sites is common and safety is emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience in commercial security systems installation or service.
• Networking skills and 1-year experience programming access and video systems.
• Minimum factory/internal security system certifications to work independently.
• Basic computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook; Smartsheet experience.

Responsibilities

• Responds to service calls within their assigned area and restores systems to full functionality.
• Properly installs systems according to Tech Systems Installation Standards.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and schematics.
• Maintains compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Identifies revisions and upgrades and installs independently.
• Communicates status to Customer Service and updates tickets.
• Manages inventory and resources in possession.
• Performs preventive maintenance inspections.
