Job summary

The GEO Group, Inc. seeks a security supervisor to oversee custody and control activities within a correctional setting. You will supervise staff, enforce policies, and coordinate detainee supervision to maintain safety and order.

Responsibilities include developing procedures, directing performance, preparing records, and responding to incidents while ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in a correctional setting with supervisory responsibilities.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.
• Ability to manage staff and enforce policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise security/control activities and staff to coordinate prisoner supervision and safety.
• Develop and implement custody, security and/or treatment policies and procedures.
• Direct staff performance, training, and disciplinary actions.
• Prepare records and reports; maintain daily logs and ensure compliance with rules.
• Respond to incidents; provide prompt assistance to detainees/inmates as needed.
• Maintain facility safety and achieve organizational goals.
