The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a dedicated security supervisor for GEO Secured Services to oversee security staff and ensure safe, compliant operations at our facility.

You will implement policies, coordinate training, and respond to incidents, maintaining thorough records and reports. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma with college coursework in behavioral sciences and at least three years in a correctional setting with supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in behavioral sciences or related field preferred.
• Three years of experience in a correctional setting, with supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the development and implementation of custody, security and/or treatment policies.
• Responds to major unusual occurrences and provides prompt assistance to detainees/inmates.
• Promotes an atmosphere conducive to positive behavior and staff development.
• Directs the work of other employees and conducts evaluations and training.
• Maintains records and prepares reports; ensures emergency procedures are trained and in place.
• Ensures facility goals and regulatory compliance for security operations.
• Provides detainee/inmate supervision and security as needed.
