The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee security and staff in a detainee supervision environment. You will help coordinate facility operations and ensure safety and compliance with established policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of field supervision experience preferred; detention officer experience required.
• College coursework in behavioral sciences or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Shift Supervisor assists in developing and implementing policies for custody, security and treatment of detainees.
• Responds to major unusual occurrences and facilitates assistance to detainees.
• Directs the work of other employees, including hiring, training and performance evaluation.
