The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee detainee supervision and safety in a secure facility. You will coordinate security staff, ensure compliance with procedures, and maintain required records and reports.

Responsibilities include developing policies for custody and treatment, handling emergencies, training staff, and ensuring disciplinary and safety standards across the operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College coursework in behavioral sciences or related field preferred.
• Three (3) years of experience in a correctional setting.
• Two (2) years of management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be a United States Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident.
• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.

Responsabilités

• Assists in development and implementation of custody, security, and treatment procedures for detainees/inmates.
• Responds to major unusual occurrences and provides prompt assistance to detainees/inmates.
• Promotes environment conducive to development of detainees/inmates and staff.
• Directs work of other employees, including hiring, evaluating, training, promotion and discipline.
• Makes assignments, reviews post orders and ensures emergency procedures are trained.
• Reviews disciplinary matters concerning staff and detainees.
• Reviews staff effectiveness and conducts facility inspections for policy compliance.
• Prepares records and reports as assigned by management and maintains daily logs.
