Job summary

Target in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a Security Specialist to protect guests and team members while safeguarding the brand. You will apply intelligence-led tactics, respond to incidents, and use Target's video surveillance system to prevent theft and losses.

You will greet guests, resolve issues, document cases in the case management system, and help maintain a safe, compliant store environment in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet state or local licensure requirements.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners.
• Effective communication skills.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience.
• Greet guests and assist them to find what they need.
• Resolve guest issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Support team and assist peers as needed.
• Promote a security culture across the store.
• Respond to security incidents and document them promptly.
• Prevent theft and loss by checking merchandise on receipt.
• Use Target's video surveillance system.
• Follow AP policies in all actions.
