Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Meet state/local licensure requirements related to the position
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other tech
• Effective communication skills
• Work independently and with a team
• Manage workload and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of remaining focused and composed while handling multiple tasks

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at the front of the store
• Promote a secure environment by maintaining safety standards throughout the store
• Respond to and document security incidents promptly
• Address guest issues to ensure a safe environment for all
• Use de-escalation techniques when addressing incidents
• Conduct theft recoveries and support apprehension as needed
• Perform merchandise receipt checks to prevent theft and shortages
• Document incidents in the case management system following AP policy
• Operate Target's video surveillance system
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance
• Work safely and report hazards
• Other duties as needed by business needs
