Job summary

CBX Solutions, LLC is seeking a Sales Engineer to serve as the primary technical resource for the sales team, crafting engineered security solutions, and producing accurate cost estimates. You will map customer requirements to security technology, train staff on offerings, and support technical discussions with clients and partners.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in pre-sales or hands-on security, a relevant degree, and the ability to travel for site visits and meetings with customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years in a pre-sales support/estimating role with access control and CCTV/IP video surveillance, or equivalent security industry experience.
• Ability to pass background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Engineer secure integrated security solutions including access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection.
• Create detailed scopes of work and cost estimates up to $250k+.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, management, vendors and customers.
• Lead needs analysis meetings and site walks with customers.
