Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee Security Officers and Lead Officers at client sites. The role ensures post orders are followed, rounds completed, and reports filed, while coaching staff and maintaining high service levels.

Requires at least two years of security experience and two years of supervisory experience; education includes a high school diploma or GED. Training and coordination across shifts may be part of duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination as determined by the company.
• Minimum 2 years of security experience; retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other personnel at client sites; ensure post orders are followed, rounds completed, and reports filed.
• Coach and discipline personnel; meet with employees; document coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Train officers; review post orders and assignments with subordinates.
• Assist in payroll and personnel data submission.
• Ensure adequate coverage across posts and positions.
• Prepare, file, and submit various reports; inspect posts and meet with subordinates to outline tasks.
• Meet with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and provide quality service.
• May perform supervisory duties such as interviewing, orienting, training, planning, directing work, coaching performance, and hiring/termination recommendations.
• May perform the duties of a Security Officer as needed.
