Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Service Technician to service and support existing customers, respond to service calls, and manage small projects. You’ll join a dynamic team within a culture that values growth, accountability and results.

You will service fire alarm and electronic security systems, troubleshoot, and install projects as needed. The role requires local travel and a valid driver’s license, with potential occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Experience in servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems
• Experience with firefighting and electronic security systems preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to travel locally to job sites regularly, with minimal overnight travel
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls and perform maintenance on security systems
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, or replace defective parts
• Install projects as necessary
• Complete accurate service reports for invoicing and cost tracking
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients
