Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Service Technician to service and support existing customers by responding to service calls, carrying out Customer Support Programs, and small projects. You will be part of a dynamic team that grows as Convergint grows.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years servicing and programming access control systems, solid technical and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to travel locally to jobsites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related field experience preferred.
• Experience with access control systems and security technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls and perform preventative maintenance on installed systems.
• Diagnose, repair, and replace defective parts; install small projects as needed.
• Document service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
