Job summary

Convergint seeks a Security Service Technician to service and support existing customers by responding to service calls and performing small projects. You will join a dynamic team that values growth, integrity, and results.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairs, preventative maintenance, and detailed service reports while ensuring safety compliance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; relevant experience helpful.
• Experience servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems preferred.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills with safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine and non-routine service calls, maintenance, and emergency calls.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective parts; install small projects as needed.
• Prepare accurate service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Perform preventative maintenance on installed systems and coordinate with team members.
• Assist with system checks, post-installation configurations, and basic network tasks.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State and local regulations and company safety policies.
