Job summary
Convergint is seeking a Security Service Technician to service and support customers, respond to service calls, and handle small projects. You will join a collaborative team that values growth, integrity and accountability, delivering exceptional service.
The role focuses on maintaining access control, CCTV (Milestone/Genetec), and intrusion systems, with local travel as needed; you will produce detailed service reports for invoicing, support ongoing operations, and help safeguard clients'
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3-5 years servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems.
- Experience with CCTV such as Milestone/Genetec.
- Intrusion experience with DMP/Bosch.
Responsibilities
- Respond to routine and after-hours service calls, maintenance and repairs.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair access control systems and security equipment.
- Install projects and configure networked security systems as needed.
- Prepare detailed service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
- Collaborate with team to improve operations and customer satisfaction.
