Convergint is seeking a full‑time Security Service Technician in Austin to service and support customers by responding to calls, performing maintenance, and handling small projects. You will diagnose, repair, replace parts, and document service reports for accurate invoicing and cost tracking.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Solid technical skills related to fire alarm and electronic security systems.
• Solid programming concepts and troubleshooting abilities.
• Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine and non-routine service calls and maintenance, diagnose and repair issues.
• Install projects and perform system upgrades as needed.
• Prepare accurate service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Provide cross-training and collaborate with team members to improve operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulatory requirements.
