Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Service Technician in Austin, Texas to service and support existing customers by responding to service calls, maintenance, and small projects. You will join a dynamic team and contribute to our culture of service.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with fire alarm and electronic security systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and a dependable, self-starting attitude. Local travel is required and safety is a priority.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing, integrating, and programming access control and CCTV systems.
• Solid technical skills with fire alarm or electronic security systems.
• Self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls, perform maintenance, and complete small projects.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective parts in systems.
• Install and configure equipment for assigned projects.
• Prepare accurate service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Adhere to safety policies and regulatory requirements.
