Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking a high-energy sales professional to drive new business within the specified territory. You will develop strategies to penetrate net-new accounts, build a strong pipeline, and engage senior security and IT leaders to advance complex deals.

You will articulate the value of InfoSec solutions in the context of cyber workforce readiness and compliance, while steering pricing and negotiations in line with company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Over 2 years of B2B sales experience.
• Experience selling cybersecurity, SaaS or enterprise tech solutions.
• Experience engaging and influencing senior executives (C-level).
• Strong understanding of complex sales cycles.
• Proven ability to meet quotas in high-growth environments.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Experience with CRM tools and sales engagement platforms.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of new business acquisition within the territory and build relationships.
• Develop and execute account penetration strategies to win net-new accounts.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline through proactive prospecting.
• Identify and engage CISO, CIO, CTO and other senior IT leaders.
• Lead multi-stakeholder sales cycles from initial engagement to close.
• Position the value of InfoSec solutions for cyber workforce readiness and compliance.
• Drive deal strategy, pricing and contract negotiations per guidelines.
• Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting with risk visibility.
• Be self-motivated, resilient and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
