Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Technician to install, program, start-up, certify, and train customers on security and related building systems on local projects. You will join a dynamic team and grow with the company while delivering world-class service.

Role requires a valid driver’s license and a High School/GED with 1–3 years of field service experience preferred; travel to local job sites is common. Convergint values culture and customer focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of field service experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repair, and service security, fire and life safety, and building automation systems.
• Provide customer training and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Interpret manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams to support installations.
• Commission new systems and demonstrate equipment; identify malfunctions.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to resolve issues and improve methods.
• Assist with project coordination, cost tracking, and documentation.
