Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Technician to install, program, start-up, certify, and train customers on assigned projects ranging from small to large in complexity. You will be part of a dynamic team with growth opportunities as Convergint grows.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, testing systems, and providing technical support while ensuring customer satisfaction. Requires programming experience and the ability to travel locally to job sites.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years relevant field service experience.
• Must have programming experience.
• Certifications in product-specific or industry-specific areas are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repair, and service non-routine security systems and equipment.
• Provide customer training and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and manuals to determine installation procedures.
• Coordinate with engineering to resolve system operation issues and improve standards.
• Travel locally to job sites; occasional overnight travel may be required.
